Sick Sundays

It was a rainy sunday today. Normally I love days like this: dark outside, rainy, soothing, that rain smell in the air. Alas todays rain did not send me to my cocoon state. Originally i was woken up at 1am by Brody. He got sick last night. Fever, pink cheeks, a cough. He had peed his bed, and woken up flaming hot. Of course he had to lay on me, with his pee clothes on! Got him up changed and medicated and back to bed. Then I was woken up by my naughty, monkey climbing 18month old baby. At 5am, with SHRILL screaming from his crib. Of course I screamed back from my room to his, GO TO SLEEP. He continued to scream at me for the next hour till i got out of bed to go get him. I guess i am lucky he didnt throw poop:) He, incidentally is sick too. As is Taylor, and Boston (who is just getting over the sickness) So with a house full of sickos, I have resigned myself to one of THOSE days.
You know, those days where no one gets along, everyone cries, whines, or whimpers :) I think what makes it harder is that Taylor is sick too. He showed up around 630am. He had a rough feverish night working overnights. Today was short change over meaning he got home this morning, and they wanted him back at work by 2pm this afternoon. Needless to say, he called in. which is a huge admission to how crappy he is feeling because they are already down some cars. And its afternoons which means a super busy schedule.
anyway, wish me luck with all my sickos.Pray that i dont get it too :)

New goals for new names

Okay so i have a new goal for some new names. When we go out of town to visit my dad, i am going to visit the Oklahoma City temple and get some work done and maybe a session. When I go to visit my mom i am going to attend the San Antonio Temple and do another session and some sealings. And then maybe if i am really lucky on my way back home to stl i can visit the dallas temple!!!!

I am so excited. i want to visit as many temples as possible. and its twice as exciting to be able to do them in san antonio and oklahoma since they are where family lives and i would be doing family names. I want to get a temple "passport" and keep track of where i have been.

Wish me luck on my goalS!

Four years

1460 days that Taylor and I have been married. We tied the knot back in 2005, and have been loving every minute since. Our anniversary was Wednesday and we weren't able to go all out and celebrate but it was nice to remember back when ;) We have been together since 2003 so really its been 2190 days. I gotta go find some pics to post of us way back when.....

I have been thanking my lucky stars and my heavenly father for bringing Taylor into my life and setting me on a different much better path. Thanks to him for being a member of the church and being essential to me converting. Love my husband, love my friends and family, love my LIFE!!!

Here's to another 4 years or 6 years, wait we got sealed... so here is to forever and after that as well.

time at the zoo take 2

The boys and i went to the zoo on saturday to get out of Taylor's hair. It was a beautiful hot day. They had a childrens game where you had to go all around the zoo to different stations and answer questions. They gave you stickers and at the last station they gave out slap on animal bracelets. It was super fun for the kiddos, gave us some focus instead of just wandering around the zoo.

Thanks to my momma, the boys had money fun at the zoo. I call it money fun because you dont need money to visit our zoo. Its a gorgeous zoo, you can find free parking, pack a lunch. You can show up for the first hour and ride the carousel, enter the childrens zoo or pet the stingrays for free. All the rest of the exhibits are free, some specialized ones cost, but nothing necessary to see.

BUUUT because of my momma, we went to the sea lion show (cost 3.00 per person under 2 is free) Got face painted (3.75 ea) cotton candy (3.00) soda (1.00 cheap cause we have special zoo cups) and last but not least some happy donalds for lunch. It was a blast! thanks again momma!

New names

This Thursday i had the opportunity to get some family names done in the temple. It was exciting and peaceful and wonderful and i am grateful that i am able to do these things for my family members who are no longer alive. I can only hope that my remaining family will join the church (haha less work for me :) ) anyway it was a tough getting that information. Wish me luck as i go farther back!
