First grade writing

A few pages out of the book of a first grader translated into a more reader friendly note.

First I get a cookie then i get candy corn then i get a hershey kiss then i get a red hot.

" I felt left out when somebody left me out. I was playing freeze tag. I felt sad."

How terrible huh? I dont know what he is talking about, since he always comes home happy. But the writing was so cute, that i felt happy to share!

I was making a picture calendar for my sister inlaw who is in the hospital. It was a day of silly/scary faces all designed to help brighten up her day. Hopefully they brightened up yours as well :)

New flowers

(on the phone with my mom) Just a quick look..........

So i finally got off my tail feathers and ripped up part of my front yard with my pal Janette. I wanted to plant some flowers on the side of the driveway so that eventually when we sell our house it has curb appeal :) Also makes it pretty while we are living in it.

Now it is not quite done, i need to add some edging and mulch, and the flowers need some time to grow into the soil.... i am sure in the spring it will be gorgeous, at least Ihope so :)

Okay last dregs of halloween footage

first video (forgive me it gets all loopy) is the voekels. Linda is dressed up as a mexican (she says she is a pinata, i dont believe her! ) anna is a blue m&m, Janae is the snow princess (i think) and daila is uniqua.

the second video is of windom rd. that we trick or treat on. it is not good footage it doesnt do the street justice. But alas this is all i have.

Halloween bonanza

So i dont mean to inudate ya'll with videos of us. But if i dont do it now, i wont do it later and you will never see us :) here is our videos from this halloween. They are all short :)

The first video is our annual carving pumpkin time. Taylor made a blue ranger pumpkin and a vampire pumpkin this year.....the boys helped gut the pumpkin and saved the seeds to be roasted.

the second video is of our friends the Kings who came to trick or treat with us :)

Trunk or treat 2

Here is a supe quick video intro to our trunk or treat at church. It is basically a hello!

Once it got dark, it got crazy with all the kids high on sugar and running around to the trunks as many times as they could before the sugar high crashed :)
