we woke up bright and early and left the hotel around 9am here are some pictures of us being silly on that long 10hour drive in to colorado

Flash Back : Spring Break hotel stay

alright after destroying the hotel room with all of our kids and belongings. we decided to wander around and find all the cool things in the resort. we found an arcade, a few eateries, a gift shop, a 3rd floor interactive game a huge tree, and a huge HUGE indoor waterpark complete with slides and a baby area, a huge water play park, a lazy river,a pool just to swima nd play basketball/cross river games a family hot tub and an adult hot tub, and tons more it was a blast. we decide to go eat at the indoor resturant and it was some good, slightly expensive, eating.

we hurried back up to our room, got dressed in our swim attire and hit the water. Boston went down every tube slide and waterslide. he was fearless. Brody was a little more scared so he went down a couple of tube slides with me and then went to climb in the water fort. Brynden and i got dunked by the bagillion water bucket and he hated that. we lost brody and brynden got sprayed in the face a few times while he and i were trying to find scodes. everyone was tired by like 7pm and we passed out.

Brynden tried to sleep in the drawer....

Flash Back : Spring Break Vacation Hotel

So today we are flashing back to march 12 when we went on our spring break family vacation to colorado. Driving with 3 kids under the age of 6. crazy, i know. Our first stop was about 4 hours in at a resort/hotel called Great Wolf Lodge. It is in kansas city, ks. It was recomended by our friends the( http://guymongoofs.blogspot.com/ ) Guymons. It was pretty amazing. Here are some pictures from our hotel room. The first is a picture of the boys section of our room it was a kids tent theme.

they loved that they had their own space and bunkbeds. It also had a window they could jump in and out of,

some bears to hang out with and a tv with a desk

It was a pretty nifty space. it was a large room with the boys section in the same room but seperated by a wall. there was a little kitchen off to the side complete with fridge and microwave.
a tv a fold out bed and a queen sized bed.... we also had a patio.
