Basement day

I thought it would be a lazy day, as i have already stated repeatedly. Then i remembered that it was basement day. we have had a leak in our basement and with things the way they are in missouri we had a tons of opprotunities for pool parties curtesy of the leaks in the basement. so a few friends from church helped my non handy handy man husband break upo the cement in our floor and fix the pipe that was stopped up... apparently our tree likes to grow its roots in the pipe. hence all the water on my floor, it couldnt drain because of the roots. so they fixed that, GREAT, but then everyone got busy, and for a few months we have had an open trench in our floor. Well today they are cementing it in. Which means lots of noise and men grunting down below.... and of course its hard to be lazy when there are others working so hard nearby..... so i guess i will get to my chores.... but i dont want to!!!!!
