Minor correction
So my last posting about crying kinda made me sound like a wuss. When I said I cry at children's books I mean a few in particular like "I will always love you" when it talks about the mom creeping into the kids room every night and rocking them and then when she gets too old he goes and rocks her... makes me cry everytime. There usually is some sentiment behind it. Nothing cheesy but like (for those who are avid greys watchers) when Christina gets left by burke and it doesnt hit her until she is alone in the apartment... man the tears that rolled down my face could have sailed a boat. Or when denny dies and izzy is laying on the floor crying those kind of heart wrenching break up scenes.... those are just a few examples... Just so you guys dont think you are friends with a crybaby. Well I am but a picky crybaby.

love the new blog look! Super cute...so I felt like my lesson was kinda dull today...I started off dull and it kinda went down hill from there...the girls' eyes glazed over...busy week...oh, and don't feel like you have to explain your crying, we all know you are a wuss...I mean, sensitive ;)
ReplyDeleteYou know sometimes you are so evil!! Lets get together this week maybe tomorrow??? and play i had fun at the science center.I thought your lesson was good.It was a hard one. One they probably already knew about and so they were able to tune out after a bit. But the falling thing was great... way to keep them on their toes....;)
ReplyDeleteI think we all cry more once you become a mom. Out comes a baby and out comes a faucet. I used to think my mom was ultra sensitive and wondered why she cried so much...now I get it. But dear, let's not cry about horrible things like your husband getting shot, your house burning down, your children dying because that's A.)morbid and B.)a worse case-very unlikely scenario that you must not dwell on. Save your tears for things that really matter. Like Grey's and Marley & Me.
ReplyDeleteAhhh my friends. I feel like we are in the same room again. :)
ReplyDeleteok...I like the new blog look too, April. I should update mine, but I'm too lazy.
I also cry more now. But I'm embarassed to cry in front of people. I need to get over that, I guess.
Kateyn is right--Marley and Me is a good cry. One I would enjoy sharing with my girl friends. So when are we all going out to lunch and a movie?!? :)
